The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a planning charge, introduced by the Planning Act 2008 as a tool for local authorities in England and Wales to help deliver infrastructure to support the development of their area.
The Parish Council can spend the money on:
- Provision, improvement, replacement, operation or maintenance of infrastructure
- Anything else that is concerned with addressing the demands that development places on an area
Corfe Castle Parish Council received a payment in April for the sum of £1140.72. The full amount was allocated towards expenditure on new litter bins for the village. Details of the Minute can be seen below.
